At what age are people usually happiest? New research offers surprising clues

A recent North American study among middle-class people in their 30s and early 40s found that the most popular answer to the question " If you could be one age for the rest of your life, what would it be?" was 36. Why? That survey responses show that people between 30 and 40 years of age, despite many complicated moments and the fact that they have less and less time to do many things in a short time, they have to take care of their home, children or work, they feel very solidly happy in their space, life. Their happiness is also due to the fact that, after years of working to develop careers and relationships, they are on the right track, in the prime of their lives. Moreover, in this age, they are more self- confident, and also they better understand other people and their own needs.

Before reading the whole article, I thought that the most common answer to this question would be 20 years, but now I see why most responded like this. They are stabilized, safe and just happy. They feel that they have finally arrived at the right place.

  1. It would be interesting to know how old were the people who answered the question in this study. I guess they were not teenagers.
