Analysis: Harry and Meghan rattle monarchy's glided cage
These weeks, I've read an article called "Analysis: Harry and Meghan rattle monarchy's glided cage" related to Saturday interview of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with Oprah Winfrey. The author of this text explains how the division between royal family and people remains the guiding principle of the family's formal relationship with the outside world. All royals activities are carefully prepared and analyzed before being presented in general, therefore this interview is a contradiction of the division between what is happening behind the closed doors of the palace and the world, it is a mixture of what is personal and public. It is a thing of which the royal family fears most. In addition to Harry's suggestions about and condemning this institution as incapable of change, love and forbearance, the author calls "the velvet knife into the heart of the monarchy". As Harry says, he felt uncomfortable with the rules of this institution, and when he saw his wife suffering as a result of being "trapped" in royal life, they decided to leave the palace. According the author their interview maybe will act as a catalyst for change, but the the changes does not easily. In my opinion, it is good that Meghan and Harry shared their experiences of royal life with people and explained why they decided to leave the monarchy.

Even if you quite like and admire the Queen herself, it's really impossible to understand why Britain has done nothing about the arrogance and extravagance of some members of the royal family.
